yesterday i dropped my cokatiel and hes about 7 years old and cant fly anymore
he landed on his feet and he limps i check his leg the next day and their was no swelling no discoloration or anything just 1 of his nails are black.
i dont know what do to or whats wrong please help
its my moms bird if i tell her im dead please help?My bird has a black nail or broken toe or foot please help urgent?
Tell your mom. What do you think is more important, your own convenience or an innocent animal's suffering? Your mom's going to notice anyway, if she loves the bird (which it sounds like she does), especially if his foot is in fact broken (which needs to be determined by an avian vet) and he goes into shock from the pain and dies, and how do you think she's going to feel when she finds out you let him stay in pain just because you're afraid of being disciplined? You'd certainly want her to know if your foot was hurt. Why? Because it hurts!
