I want to wear black nail polish but my parents think it's goth or whatever. How do i convince them it isn't?Convincing parents to let me wear black nail polish?

i wear it, not to be goth/emo but because its fashionable.

first of all black nail polish is pretty harsh so i would only wear that for formal events


also instead of a black, try wearing a dark navy or charcoal gray or a dark red color because that is much more complimentary

Try just explaining to them that you would like to express yoursef by how you dress. If that doesn't work, write up a letter pointing out all the facts that help your case, and give it to them. Parents are hard to convince to let you change up your style, trust me, I know. Just don't give up. They'll give in eventually.

i told them that that was the only nail polish color that combine with every outfit


and told them that tht wasnt punk/goth at all


and now there not totally happy about it, but they let me use it %26amp; dont say nothing(:

Show your parents pictures of stars that wear black nailpolish. Most of them are not goth or whatever. And show them that you are not goth and just think black nail polish looks cool!
