Black nail polish is very trendy and it was only back in the 90's when only the ';goth kids'; would wear it. If you are concerned and would like something just as dark and super cool you should try LINCOLN PARK AFTER DARK by OPI, so cute and soooo dark. People often think it's black but when you see it closely in the sunlight you can tell it's a really dark plum, purple, blackish color. (it looks lighter in the bottle than on your nails).
It isn't goth or anthing thing though if fact over the winter it was very much in style.
Black nail polish is great for colder days, but summer is coming up and why go black when you can pick a flirty pink or and bubbly blue (: I really don't think black is a formal nail polish color so it is not appropriate to be worn to a wedding or bar mitzva..
I actually like wearing black nail polish as well and sadly yes, people tell me I'm goth or emo too. I hate it when people label others like objects -_______- Anyways, I think it's an awesome color to wear (:

I think it would look good good, just as long as your nails aren't LONG. It's really sidgusting with long nails and nail polish, let alone black. Just make sure your outfit doesn't look emo/goth, because people could get a total wrong impression on you along with your black nail polish...unless you are emo or goth.

black nail polish is just another color for your nails...it goes with mostly everthing a person wears.dont listen to what people say, if your not goth or emo and like wearing black nail polish keep wearing it.

i like it! but i resenty lost mine so i'm going to buy a new one. I think that if you like it you should wear it, but if you don't then don't. but if you don't like it then don't diss people who do...it's not nice.
well..i think black nail polish brings u bad luck..sometimes u look like a prostittute if u wear it..bcoz black iz their colour...u know adam lambert who iz runner up for american id0l season 8...judge simon told personally to his friends that he look like a gay!...
i like black nail polish. it's just a color. people need to get over associating certain colors with stereotypes. if you like it, wear it. that's my motto.

its cute but also it depends on your skin color and no its not only for rockers look at magazines most of the young celebrities are using this color just for fun. It looks pretty in and fashionable at the same time!
I think it can look really fashion forward on some people. For instance, Lauren Conrad wear black nail polish a lot but she makes it look nice, not emo or goth.
I think it is depending on what you wear with it. Like if you are in all black then yes. If you are colorful then not really.

definitely a 100% no, never ever. if you like dark colors go for a dark purple or brown never use black nail polish its not emo its just plain tacky. dark nail polish is nice black is just not
personally i don't like it i know it is very ';in'; right now but I think it depends on your personality. The same thing with black lipstick (but that's a little more extreme)
