Huh...didn't know real Emo's wore black...Um...it depends how you do it. It can be a sophisticated look if done correctly. But if it's on short nails then it will look more Punk and Goth (not Emo...they were pink and white, dude!)

Funny you brought this up because I am wearing black nail polish right now! And I am no where near goth! I love the color pink and everything! It is just a cool color, and It goes with anything you wear! On my right hand is black nail polish, but on my left hand is pink! mix it up just wear one hand black and another hand whatever you want! It will make it less obvious and people definitely shouldn't think you are emo/goth.
Yes you can i do it alot.
black nail polish with a baby blue or white decoration.
or just black and glitter's over it.
add pink strips and also blak doesnt go with all nail shapes or gals becuase i know it looks horrilbe on me :( lol
keep your nails short and manicured...it wont look ';emo gothic-y'; if you yourself arent that way. black nailpolish is really cute for this season. go for it!
pick what you wear carefully. a cute black top (with bright color in it too) is fine
