Does anybody know how to get black nail polish out of a rug?

If it's not REAL bad, I would try just cutting off the very top of the fibers where it is~ with a pair of scissors. Alot of time polish remover will just make it worse, and can even ';melt'; your carpet. Be really careful if you try it. If all else fails~throw rug;)

Good Luck!!Does anybody know how to get black nail polish out of a rug?
Been there, on a velvet bubblegum pink carpet.

You have to cut a piece left over some where or find a small place that is hidden from view, like under a dresser or corner . Cut the patch. Cut out the messy one a nd reglue it in place. Fluff it up so it isn't noticeable. Trust me, the polish remover will remove the carpet dye too.Does anybody know how to get black nail polish out of a rug?
If it is wool, try nail polish remover.
