How do I get rid of black nail polish underneath?

I painted my toes black, then realized that I didn't like them so I took them off with acetone. But on the edges, there's still black and I wanted a cream color instead so now it has like a hint of black O_O

help?

use Q-tips and dip it into nail polish remover. That way it gets rid of all the little left over marks. How do I get rid of black nail polish underneath?
take nail polish remover and a cue-tip, that will get in the edges better.

or use a cotton ball, put a lot on and soak it more near the edges. also if you push the skin away from the side of your toe nail it's easier to get to. otherwise you can soak your toe and scrape it off.
When you use acetone (nail polish remover) you have to be super careful to get all the nail polish off (I'm really bad about that :)). Did you try using a Q-tip with acetone on it? Either way, you'll probably have to redo the cream nail polish...
wet your toenails with the nail polish remover, let them soak a bit, and scrape the little specks off with a toothpick or other pointed object
Have you tried using nail polish remover?

There's some in stores and if you scrub it hard on the edges, it might come off.
