Does black nail polish on fingernails remind you of dog claws?

Or is it just me? I think it looks nasty, but fine on toes. What do you think?Does black nail polish on fingernails remind you of dog claws?
Oh Yikes... I'm wearing it right now on my toes, lol... french nails on the fingers... I had to stop wearing black on my fingernails because my parrot took ';great offense'; to it, and would bite me and not accept food from me with the black nails... so... in order to preserve our very special ';relationship'; I have had to resign myself to only doing the toesies black (Chanel black satin...) although she WILL peck my toes while I'm getting ready in the morning...





I don't mind it on the fingers as long as it's not chipped and the nails aren't really long..... I think long black daggers look ..... well..... stupid! I think short, dark and freshly manicured is nice. Once you get a chip or two going it must come off and if you're a nail biter... no black for you, lol....

Nah, It doesn't. It reminds me of a punk/emo kind of style. Personally, I think its a koolio style. So yeah, it isn't dog-like. And I havent seen it on toes, just on fingers. But I think it would look good either way.

I think it's all about preference. If you like it, then that's all that should matter.
no... if i see black nails, i think ';oh, this person is not judging and has style.'; people who judge wouldnt wear black because they would be ';too emo.'; and i like black nails. new flash, black does not equal emo. black to me represents class and sophistication. i have no idea where the dogs nails/claws come in...

Black polish can be very classy and sophisticated on the right set of nails. It really depends on the look a person is trying to achieve. Kolibre Cosmetics has a black nail polish called ';Eclipse'; that is very popular.
